Welcome to the "Raqib" (راقب نفسك) app. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information we collect when you use the app.

            Important Note: By using the "Raqib" app, you agree to the information collection 
            and use practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please 
            do not use the app.

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

We collect information you provide to us directly when using the app, including:

Tasks and activities you enter into the app
Prayer, dhikr, and Quran records you save
Ihsan (good deeds) records you track
User name (optional)
User gender (optional - used for personalized AI messages)
Settings and personal preferences (such as language, AI comment scope)

            Important: All this information is stored locally only on your device. 
            Your task content, prayer details, or any sensitive personal data are not sent to any external servers.
        

1.2 Data Sent to Third-Party Services

            Very Important: When using the personalized daily messages feature (AI), data is sent to OpenRouter API service. 
            This feature is completely optional - you can use the app fully without enabling it.
        

The data sent to OpenRouter API includes:

Aggregated Statistics: Number of prayers performed/missed, commitment rates (last 7 days only)
Task Statistics: Number of completed/missed tasks, completion rates (last 7 days only)
Incomplete Task Names: Titles of tasks that are not yet completed (not their detailed content)
Task Descriptions: The description you entered for incomplete tasks (if you entered a description)
User Name: If you entered it (optional)
User Gender: If you entered it (optional)

We do NOT send: Actual prayer details, full task content, any financial or health information, or any data that can be used to directly identify you (such as phone number, email, address).

Purpose of Sending: To generate personalized daily encouragement messages based on your performance. This data is not used for advertising or marketing purposes.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

Local Storage: Store all your data and tasks locally on your device only
Generate Personalized AI Messages: Use aggregated statistics to generate personalized daily messages (optional)
Personalize Your Experience: Use your settings and preferences to customize the app interface

Note: We do NOT collect usage data or device information automatically. We do not use analytics or tracking services. All your data stays on your device.

3. Data Storage

Complete Local Storage: All your data is stored locally on your device only using:

Local Database (SQLite): To store prayers, tasks, dhikr, Quran, and ihsan records
SharedPreferences: To save settings and preferences (language, user name, etc.)

No Cloud Storage: We do not own servers and do not send your data to any external servers for storage. All your data stays on your device only.

            Important Warning: If you delete the app or reset your device, all your data will be deleted. 
            We recommend backing up your data if necessary.
        

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share limited information only in the following cases:

When required by law or in response to a legal request
To protect our rights or the rights of other users
With service providers who help us operate the app (ensuring they comply with privacy standards)

5. Third-Party Services

The app uses only one third-party service:

OpenRouter API: We use this service optionally to generate personalized daily messages (AI). When using this feature, only aggregated statistics (as described in section 1.2) are sent to OpenRouter. No sensitive personal data or your actual task content is sent.

Please review OpenRouter's privacy policy to understand how they handle data.

Note: You can use the app fully without enabling the daily messages feature, and in that case, no data will be sent to OpenRouter.

We do NOT use: analytics services, advertisements, tracking, or any other services that collect user data.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, absolute security cannot be guaranteed for any information transmitted over the internet or stored electronically.

7. Children's Privacy

Very Important: If your target audience includes children under 13 years of age, you must ensure that this privacy policy complies with children's privacy protection requirements.

The "Raqib" app does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will take steps to delete this information as soon as possible.
